Speaking of Elves, we’ve got three distinct varieties:

Solar Elves

These are generally Tolkein-style, Albion-ish, Fair Folk elves of the Summer Court. These tend to be the civilized elves who build mighty kingdoms.

Lunar Elves

These are generally D&D style, slim and slight elves; equally likely to be of the Summer or Winter Courts. These tend to be the wild elves who are happiest in their woodland retreats.

Tenebral Elves

These are generally AD&D style Drow (dark elves). Good luck finding one in the Summer Court. These are the dastardly elves that slip into the houses of bad little boys and girls on moonless nights to cut their parents’ throats while they sleep.
